Higher Education at Barking & Dagenham College

Higher Education (HE) is about taking your education to the next level, learning new things and planning for your future. We have a long history of providing strong HE programmes, delivered with a variety of partners. If you prefer studying in a relaxed and friendly environment you should consider a course with us. Your HE qualification will give you new skills and opportunities, as well as the confidence to excel in your chosen career.

A wide range of subjects

Our HE programme is diverse and offers qualifications at different levels from HNC through to degree. Click here to review our courses and to see the full programme specifications for each one. If you have any questions about our HE programme, please contact our Learner Help Centre on 020 8090 3020 or email engagement.services@barkingdagenhamcollege.ac.uk

Applying for a Higher Education course

If you wish to study for a Higher National Certificate (HNC) with us, you can apply direct to the College using our standard application form. For Higher National Diplomas and above, you will need to apply through UCAS.  Our course listings contain the relevant UCAS course codes, so please click here to view. You will find more information on the UCAS application process at www.ucas.ac.uk

Celebrating your achievement

Every year, we celebrate the achievement of our graduates at our Higher Education Awards & Graduation Ceremony. This usually takes place in November, and in 2009 over 200 of our graduates came together to share in their success.
