What qualifications do I need?
You should either have successfully completed a PC Configuration or CompTIA Strata course or be employed as an IT Professional with approximately 500 hours hands-on experience in the field or laboratory.
What will I learn?
You will cover all objectives required to pass the two exams, using a combination of instructor-led and practical hands-on assignments.
CompTIA A+ Essentials tests for the fundamentals of computer technology, networking and security, as well as the communication skills and professionalism now required of all entry-level IT professionals.
CompTIA A+ Practical Application is an extension of the knowledge and skills identified in CompTIA A+ Essentials, with more of a “hands-on” orientation focused on scenarios in which troubleshooting and tools must be applied to resolve problems.
How will I be assessed?
Two exams are necessary to be certified: CompTIA A+ Essentials, and CompTIA A+ Practical Application.

Candidates achieving this course may wish to obtain additional skills in PC Networking, by enrolling on courses such as Network+ and Cisco CCNA
