What qualifications do I need?
This course is an ideal next step to our Introduction to Digital Photography course.
What will I learn?
This 10 week course is an excellent introduction to Adobe Photoshop (for Photographers). It is suitable for anyone who is starting out with a DSLR camera and wants to gain skills in Adobe Photoshop (Professional Image-Editing Software).
If you are new to Photoshop this Adobe Photoshop course would be for you.
Prior knowledge of photography would be advantageous.
You will take part in group discussions, demonstrations and lectures, with practical homework tasks for you to complete. You will also be encouraged to bring your work in to show to colleagues.
The course covers a range of topics including:
- Preparation of your workspace
- Opening and sizing your images in Adobe Photoshop
- Tools palate
- Editing images
- ICC Profiling
- Preparing your files for printing
On successful completion of this course you will be awarded a Barking & Dagenham College Certificate.
How will I be taught?
One evening per week for 10 weeks.
Group discussions, demonstrations and lectures make this an enjoyable and interesting 2 hour a week course.
How will I be assessed?
There is on going assessment throughtout course including practical homework assignments.
