Are you thinking about becoming an apprentice?
If you have a job, or are looking for employment, and want to gain qualifications and skills that will support you in your chosen career – an apprenticeship could be the choice for you.
What is an apprenticeship?
It is the opportunity for you to earn and learn at the same time.
Typically you will spend 4 days at work, and then come to college 1 day a week.
Your college course will teach you skills that you can put into practice at work, whether you are training to be a bricklayer or a beauty therapist.
Your course will also cover general information which is useful in any workplace. Subjects such as “Employment Rights and Responsibilities” and ” Thinking Skills”.
You, your employer and your college
