The simple guide to fees

We like to support our students by providing advice on fee payment options and funding.

Depending on your age and your personal circumstances, you may or may not have to pay fees for your course.
 
Below is a quick reference guide on some of the common categories that are used to determine what fees you need to pay:

Group Conditions Fees
Aged 16-18

With 3 or more years residency in the UK/EEA

 

Your course
will be free.

Aged 19+ and not in receipt of any means
tested benefit

 

With 3 or more years residency in the UK/EEA

You will need
to pay the full course fees.
Aged 19+ and in receipt of a means tested benefit

Eligible benefits:

  • Income support
  • Housing Benefit
  • Council Tax Benefit
  • Working Tax Credit (limits apply)
  • Pension Guarantee
  • Employment Support Allowance
  • Job Seekers Allowance


Condition:
You will need to sign a self-declaration and provide proof of their entitlement to benefits.
 

Fees are required for equipment and materials.
Aged 19-23 and enrolling on your first full Level 2 qualification

With 3 or more years residency in the UK/EEA

Condition:
You will need to sign a declaration and provide evidence of their prior qualifications (if applicable).
