Paying your fees by instalments and online

Helping you manage the cost of study

For courses starting in September 2017, if your tuition fee is £300 or more, you can spread the cost over 4 equal (25%) instalments using the Recurring Payment Facility. Your exam fees and administration fees must be paid up-front, alongside your first tuition fee instalment.

If your tuition fee is less than £299 you must pay in full when you enrol on your course.

Remember, if you are age 16 – 18 you do not pay any tuition, exam or administration fees.

Register your Debit or Credit Card when you enrol

This Recurring Payment Facility will debit the instalment via a Debit or Credit Card, which you should register when you enrol.

For courses starting in September 2017, you will not be able to pay your tuition fees in cash or by Direct Debit.

Your first instalment will be paid when you enrol in September. At the same time you will be given an instalment plan, setting out the date and amount for the 3 subsequent instalments. The instalment pattern is likely to be as follows:

First 25% Instalment:       Upon enrolment in September

Second 25% Instalment:   28 October

Third 25% Instalment:       28 November

Final 25% Instalment:      28 December

If you do not complete your course

If you withdraw from your course, please be aware that you are still liable for the FULL course fee and any outstanding fees will have to be settled.

Non-payment of fees

If there are insufficient funds in your account when the instalments are requested, the system will keep trying for 5 days. If by the end of the 5 days if no instalment has been paid, a £20 administration fee will be added to the total owing on your account.

If your instalments are not paid for any reason, such as insufficient funds available through your Debit or Credit card, you will not be able to continue on your course, have access to College facilities, or sit any examinations.

Any overdue fees can be paid online, and as soon as this is done you can continue your studies.
