Students learn about the world of advertising

14 May 2018

The talk was a part of the Speakers4Schools programme, the UK charity launched in 2011, helping state schools and colleges inspire their students and broaden horizons through access to the insights, experiences and expertise of today’s leading figures through talks and more - all free of charge.

Steve showed the students some of the great work being produced in the industry by APA members, including ‘Nike – LDN’ from Riff Raff and ‘Audi – Duel’ from Rattling Stick. He also went through the various different production roles to show the students how they can be a part of the industry too.

Karen Boxhall, the College’s Learner Involvement Coordinator said: “Steve’s insights and advice have been really well received by the students and will make a significant difference to their future."

“In the short time he had with the students, he made a big impression and we feel confident that he has brought new directions and impetus to many.”
