Brian Woodall, Jake Reed and Josh Scott sat back and relaxed while Level 2 Beauty learners gave them a deluxe pedicure in the newly opened commercial beauty Salon at Barking & Dagenham College.
This was the first time any of the players had had a pedicure and all were impressed by the results.
Josh said: “It was a really good experience and very relaxing.” Brian added, “It was really relaxing and my feet feel great!”
All three players were so impressed that they said they would be booking in again and telling the rest of their team mates to give it a try.
Jake said: “I’ve never had a pedicure before but it was really nice, my feet feel really good and it was really relaxing. I will definitely be coming back!”
Kruti Gandhi, Curriculum Team Leader for Beauty Therapy said: “It was great to have Brian, Josh and Jake in today. It was great experience for our learners as none of them had ever given a footballer a pedicure before! We hope to see them and more of their team mates in the future!”
Kruti added: “The Salon is now open to the public and everyone is welcome to come in, we have treatments for both men and women ranging from waxing to manicures!”
