Hybrid technology helps learners drive careers into the future

Barking & Dagenham College has just taken delivery of a brand new Hybrid Vehicle for its Motorsport and Automotive Engineering Technology courses.

The car, a Honda Civic will teach our learners all they need to know about High Voltage Technology
and petrol and electrical power switching

Tony Grassick, Head of Motor Sport & Automotive Engineering Technology said: “It’s great having the Hybrid Car. It is helping us to look into the future and keep up with the latest technology.

Tony added: “With this car we are giving our learners the high voltage awareness that’s they will need to put them in good stead for the work place.”

The car was handed over to Vice- Principal, Lesley Graham by Ken Birch, Brand Director at Glynn Hopkins (Pictured) at our industry- standard training centre at London Road.

Lesley said: “This kind of technology is putting Barking & Dagenham College at the forefront of technology and it is giving our learners the best possible start for when they get into the work place.”
