Barking & Dagenham College Football Academy student, Jakub Berkowicz, has been talent spotted by local club Dagenham & Redbridge FC and has secured a place on the Club?s under 18 team.
Jakub, aged 18 from south east London, joined the College’s Academy in September 2015 but it wasn’t long before his outstanding footballing talent was spotted by the College’s Academy coaches and he was put forward for a six-week trial with the Club.
Talking of his good fortune, Jakub said
“It is exciting for me to be training four times a week with my team colleagues. The facilities are great and I am very grateful to everyone for this opportunity.”
Jakub will continue his sports studies as an apprentice at Barking & Dagenham College one day a week, alongside his training regime and playing commitments for the Club.
