If you are already employed in the lifelong learning sector, or you are thinking of a change in career, this will qualify you to teach in Further Education, Adult and Community Learning, 14 to 19 units in Schools and Academies, Private Training Organisations, and the Public Services such as Police, Paramedics, and Fire Service Training.

It is not suitable if you wish to teach in primary or secondary schools.

If you already have a first degree, you will qualify for the Professional Graduate Certificate in Education and Training (PGCE).
