    An entrepreneur has launched an app with the help of a local student in a bid to help youngsters better manage their money. Dr Arinola Araba teamed up with Barking & Dagenham College IT student, Charlie Madigan, to develop the computer game, bMoneywize, which was tried and tested at Barking library in the Town Square.

    The Molecular Fizz Academy, run by Cam and Orbi of Company Drinks (a social enterprise initiative based in Barking Park) invited our Business, Entrerprise and Entrepenuership students to join their new programme. The programme ran over 6 weeks and gave students the opportunity to visit other social enterprises around London, and learned more about how to grow a small business.

  1. Top employers give students interview practise

    Employers including Barclays Bank, Clifford Chance, Citi Bank, Swiss Re, ENGIE and KPMG gave up their time earlier this month to help our students improve their interview skills. The Interview Workshop gave each Business student a chance to have a mock interview. Afterwards, they were given constructive feedback on their interview skills.

    Our Daggers Football Academy team are now just one game away from winning the league! The team has played 11 games so far, won eight, drew two and lost only one game. Their impressive results mean they are now just two points off the top spot on the league table. For their final game, they will play Waltham Forest College, this Wednesday (15th May).
