Sarkis has more than 10 years of experience in Financial Services. He started his career in Banking before moving to EY as a Management Consultant where he advised and helped deliver projects for global banks in the UK and abroad such as RBS, Lloyds Bank, Barclays Capital, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, Nomura, Nordea, SEB and SwedBank.
Sarkis joined Deutsche Bank in February 2016 as a Vice President in the Risk Chief Operating Office division focusing on Risk Strategy and Architecture. His expertise include strong knowledge of Financial Risk (Credit, Market and Counterparty Credit Risk), Non-Financial Risk (Operational Risk) and Risk Regulations while he has strong experience in Innovation, Strategy and Architecture.
Sarkis studied Bachelors (BSc) in Computer Science and Masters (MSc) in Finance both from the University of Leicester and holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) awarded by the CFA society of the UK. He has also attended executive education programs such as the Fintech Innovative Banking program at the Imperial College Business School.
In his spare time, Sarkis follows football. He is also a holder of the FA Level 1 Coaching Certificate and the FA Level 1 in Coaching Futsal.
