Our popular Horizon courses are for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and are designed to develop knowledge, skills for life, and an understanding of working life.
Courses cover English, Maths, IT and topics including catering & hospitability, gardening to sell produce, and art & design.
Programmes are designed for students who need some extra support to prepare them for study on a full-time college course.
The courses cover:
- English, Maths and Information & Communications Technology (ICT) – up to GCSE-level
- Vocational projects
- Employability skills

With a 94% success rate we're confident that once you’ve successfully completed the course, you’ll be ready for studying full-time at college or to confidently enter the world of employment.
Students are given the opportunity to work within industry-standard workshops. They can alternatively (or additionally) focus on classroom-based studies to achieve the qualifications they need to progress.
