Want to work with young people and make a genuine difference?

Working as a teaching assistant within school and college environments can be really rewarding.

During your studies, you’ll learn about the development of children and young people, and their behaviour and communication. You'll also gain practical skills and experience along the way through work placements in local schools.

Where it can lead to

There are number of routes you can take following successful completion of a course. Further study can include Higher Education courses or a Higher Apprenticeship where you will expand your skills through study whilst earning a wage. Or you may choose to move directly into employment.
