They say you never stop learning. So why should you stop studying?
At Barking & Dagenham College we offer courses to students of all ages. There are more adult learners (aged 19+) studying at the college than any other age group.
Our courses cover a range of levels, subjects, qualifications and formats.
A course for you
Whether you’re progressing to the next stage of full-time study, trying out a new subject part-time, improving your career prospects or returning to study after years away, there’s a course suited to you.
We offer full-time, part-time, day and evening courses so you can fit your studies around your other commitments.
You can check what financial support is available to you here.
Free courses for adults
We offer free online courses to help you upskill or make a change in your career. Read more about these courses on our E-Learning page.
Entry Level, Level 1 and Level 2 courses could also be free to study, depending upon your earnings and course eligibility, and subject to Ts & Cs.
The current earnings thresholds for eligibility are:
Living in London - £20,572.50
Living outside of London - £16,009.50
What level can I study at?
Each course’s page shows the entry requirements for joining.
It’s also well worth understanding qualifications and levels to get an idea of what might suit you. It’ll also help you work out where a course might take you and what you could do afterwards.
The same opportunities are open to all at Barking & Dagenham College.
We want students to feel fulfilled in and out of their education, so be sure to learn more about the great student experience, our fantastic facilities and the support we offer.
