Improve your skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign and After Effects.

On this course you'll be using industry-standard software to design posters, logos, adverts, magazine layouts, 2D animations, illustrations, book covers and much more!

The first part of this two-year graphic design course will improve your skills in typography, motion graphics, illustration and layout design.

You'll also develop your ability in using industry-standard software.

Coursework for each unit will go towards your overall assessment.

Lessons and workshops will take place in the studio, but you could also be visiting exhibitions or heading out on course-related excursions on any given week!

You'll need at least 4 GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above to take this course.

Alternatively, you'll have successfully completed the Level 2 Diploma in Graphic Design.

There will be opportunities to work against 'live' briefs on this course.

On completion of the subsidiary year of this course you can progress on to the Extended Diploma.

Where it can lead to

There are number of routes you can take following successful completion of a course. Further study can include Higher Education courses or a Higher Apprenticeship where you will expand your skills through study whilst earning a wage. Or you may choose to move directly into employment.
