This course is designed to engage and motivate students who are interested in learning about motor vehicles and the motor industry.
Students will study the following units:
- Introduction to Vehicle Engine Lubrication Systems
- Introduction to Vehicle Engine Cooling Systems
- Introduction to Vehicle Engine Fuel & Exhaust Systems
- Introduction to Vehicle Engine Spark Ignition Systems
- Introduction to Vehicle Engine Electrical Systems
- Introduction to Vehicle Engine Braking Systems
- Introduction to Vehicle Engine Transmission Systems
- Introduction to Vehicle Engine Steering & Suspension Systems
- Introduction to Vehicle Engine Wheels & Tyre Systems
- Introduction to Vehicle Engine Operating Principles
- Introduction to Principles of Vehicle Body & Interior Cleaning
Each Unit is assessed through practical tasks and theory / knowledge assessments.
There are no formal entry requirements, but it will help if you're at Entry Level 2 or above in English & Maths.
Assuming you have a reasonable level of English and Maths, successfully completing the course means you can move on to the Level 1 Certificate or Diploma courses.
