This course offers experience across a range of specialisms - ideal if you're not yet sure where you want to focus.
You'll learn basic beauty therapy treatments and the skills to assist Beauty Therapists in salons and spas.
You'll cover:
- Working with clients
- Reception & customer-care
- Hand care
- Skin care
- Nail art
You'll need to do both written assignments and practical observations, as well as online exams.
Students will also build a portfolio of evidence throughout the course.
You'll be training in our commercial and training beauty salon which is open to paying customers!
You will need to have GCSE Maths, English Language and two additional subjects at grade 2 (E) or above.

Completing this course will enable you to progress onto further courses, including the Level 1 Award - Introduction to Hair & Beauty Sector, and the Level 1 Diploma in Beauty Therapy.
