If you've been following an art and design pathway, this course could be the next step you need towards university or a successful career!

You'll get to build on your experience-to-date, and produce work in specialisms such as drawing and painting, printmaking, sculpture, photography and digital media.

There are no exams on this course - you'll be assessed solely on your project work.

Ideally you'll have successfully completed an HNC in Art & Design or an equivalent course.

You'll also need a GCSE in English Language at grade 4 (C) or above.

You'll have opportunities to answer real 'live' project briefs within specialist areas of art and design as part of the course.

On successful completion of this course you could head to university to study a related discipline. Dependent upon the uni, you might be able to skip to the final year of a degree course!

Where it can lead to

There are number of routes you can take following successful completion of a course. Further study can include Higher Education courses or a Higher Apprenticeship where you will expand your skills through study whilst earning a wage. Or you may choose to move directly into employment.
