Learn a range of traditional and digital graphic design skills, and improve your skills using Photoshop and other industry-standard design software.
On the course you'll cover subjects such as typography, illustration and layout design.
You'll be designing posters, advertising, logos, packaging, magazine layouts and much more!
Coursework for each unit will go towards your overall assessment.
Lessons and workshops will take place in the studio, but you could also be visiting exhibitions or heading out on course-related excursions on any given week!
You'll need at least 2 GCSEs at grade 3 or above to study on this course.
Some of your project work will be on 'live' briefs.
This experience will help you to understand graphic design in the workplace, and should be highlighted in your portfolio.
Successfully completing this course means you can move up to study Graphic Design at BTEC Level 3.
