Training to help your business to prosper
Whether you are a sole trader or a multi-national, well trained employees will keep your business healthy.
To develop the skills of your workforce effectively, you need flexible training options that are designed around your business needs, not off-the-shelf training packages.
That's where Barking & Dagenham College's Business Engagement Team can help.
It starts with a conversation
There will be no sales patter. Our job is to listen.
One of our Team will work with you to find out what issues your business is facing, your short, medium and long-term objectives, and how developing the skills of your workforce could form part of that solution.
This is a free service and there is no obligation if you decide not to take it further.
You have choices when it comes to a training provider, but we'll be here if and when you are ready to pick-up the conversation.

Take advantage of our funding expertise
Some training options have been fully-funded, or subsidised by government.
As one of the leading training provides in London (the College has been here since the early 1960s), our job is to help you navigate your way around the various funding streams and to help you get more training for your money.
Accredited or non-accredited - it's your choice
Workforce training is completely flexible.
As we work with you, it may become clear that the best training option is accredited. An accredited course is quality assured by an awarding body, for example City & Guilds.
A non-accredited course, such as bespoke training designed to upskill your workforce around a particular business need or issue, may not lead to a final qualification but is no less valuable to your operation.
It all depend on what's right for your business.
